As much as I would like to say,

As a dad this is my day,

Let’s look at how all was begun,

And how proud I am to be your son.

In my life there was another,

He was married to Grandmother,

How different we all seemed back then,

Today I look and you are him.

In myself I see a father,

That loves his child like no other,

The love I give to my daughter,

Was taught to me by my father.
